Author Biography

Kathleen McCormick is principal of Fountainhead Communications, LLC, and a journalist who writes frequently about design and the environment. She has written articles for the Christian Science Monitor, the New York Times, and USA Today, and magazines such as Planning, Preservation, and Urban Land. She is the author of Successful Practices for Building Healthier Communities, editor of Colorado Urbanizing, and coeditor of Charter of the New Urbanism. She lives in Boulder, Colorado.
